"Our journey to build the house started in 2008. We researched and met up with numerous architects along the way but did not feel comfortable that they could deliver on what we required. We first met Zeno in February 2010 and right from our first meeting we knew we had found the right architect for us in that our house would be designed specifically for us to suit the location and our requirements. He took our specification and drew up plans with the emphasis on simplicity and easy living spaces that flowed. He orientated the house around the sun thus maximising on the solar gain as the day progresses whilst taking advantage of the views. His 3D models were particularly useful as it’s often difficult to see how the positioning of doors and windows will feel in real life from a 2D drawing. Zeno managed to design our house to accommodate large groups for family gatherings whilst keeping it cosy for family living, not an easy task.
